I got my scanner to work!!!!

As you can tell from the title, I'm not actually built like this. I just wanted to do a self-glorifying self-portrait. I'm going to color this, so please, no one beat me to the punch.

Thanks, I've been working on that lately. You might notice some anatomy-related criticism on the other works in my gallery. Always more to learn!

Well - you sure do work ;)

The chest, the abdomen, the legs look very good ( although the trousers should fold a little bit different - but that's minor). Nice work on the spear too.
The arms - on the other hand - look quite strange - right arm looks misplaced while the left wrist looks severely broken. But things like that can happen, since you choose hard positions to draw ;)

I'm waiting towards the colored version...

I definitely had some trouble with the arms. I've found that drawing difficult positions and angles tends to reveal to me what I need to work on. And you've confirmed it.

But you should learn to walk before you try to run.
And difficult poses tend to make learning much more difficult than it really is. While you learn to draw arms in straight angles, it'll be a lot easier for you to make such poses, while learning the anatomy in unnatural poses and interesting angles, you don't learn how they look 'normally'...

Every road starts with the FIRST step ;)
